Vernon to get an accuate image of our first president.  It was their  goal to depict George Washington at the ages of nineteen, fourty-five and and fifty-seven.  Ms. McClafferty also writes about lesser known times of his life which give insight into the real character of this courageous man and gifted leader.

  A very Somber update:  Jabberwocky is saddened to hear of the death of Brian Jacques, February 6, 2011.  Mr. Jacques commanded the largest book signing in the history of our store.  Over 700 people filled our building and the sidewalks outside.  It was amazing that his fans were mostly 10-13 year old boys...  Mr. Jacques spoke and although packed in like sardines on the 3rd floor of our building, you could have heard a pin drop!  An amazing writer and good man...he will be missed.
